Recognition for the Treasures by high ranking personalities
We are happy and honoured, that “The Treasures of Kenya” is under the patronage of Hon. Najib Balala, Kenya’s Minister for Tourism, who has recognised its significance at an early stage, and hailed it in his letter of introduction “a mission of national interest”. Back in 2009, when the initiator Hardy Fiebig approached Hon. Najib Balala at the ITB tourism trade fair in Berlin with the very early concept of the Treasures of Kenya, the Minister then had termed it already “a brilliant idea”.
However, we humbly learned that also outstanding ideas need plenty of time and dedication to hatch and grow. So we are truly happy to have reached a point, where “The Treasures of Kenya” book is soon to come about, and in fact continues to receive recognition even from the highest levels. Our biggest Christmas present surely is the foreword to the book by HE Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, the President of the Republic of Kenya, who praises it “An unforgettable virtual journey through Kenya!” and “A masterpiece which crafts a portrait of our country with historic significance and value.”
Be assured that these kind words are a strong motivation on the last stretch of the long journey creating an opus that is doing justice to this wonderful country of Kenya and its adorable people!
